CPR Course

Know how to react facing a life-threatening emergency

Facing a life-threatening emergency, every minute counts. The goal of the CPR training is to provide you with the means to react effectively in the event of life-threatening emergency. You will learn:

  • How to manage an emergency situation and simply assess the victim's condition.
  • Who to call and what to do (how to do CPR and how to use an AED) an automated external defibrillator).
  • How to recognize a possible myocardial infarction (heart attack) and a possible stroke, and how to react.

A certified and recognized training!

The CPR English course taught at the ESSR follows the SRC guidelines (Generic Provider) and as such represents the highest level of training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation available in Switzerland. The Generic Provider certification is recognized by many institutions, including:

  • SRC = training certified by the Swiss Resuscitation Council©, institution providing CPR guidelines for Switzerland.
  • FPH = training validated by the Federatio Pharamceutica Helvetia, institution for the education of pharmacists.
  • ASCA / RME = training for initial certification, as well as for continuing education of for alternative and complementary therapists.

This CPR certification allows you to join swiss First Responder networks.

The course everyone should follow!

Facing a life-threatening emergency, the actions of the bystander will define if the victim will survive or not. It is critical that as many people as possible follow a basic emergency procedures training. For this reason, the CPR English course:

  • Maximises your skills with a simple approach.
  • Makes you practice with several exercises and situation drills.
  • Brings you to mastery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

At the end of the course, you will be able to assess the emergency situation, raise the alarm and initiate the essential life-saving actions.
